Is this right for you?
A good fit
- A campaign that needs one main film and shorter versions for every channel.
- A brand film that is too long for Reels, TikTok, Shorts or pre-roll.
- Teams that want the same story and closing across 30, 15 and 6 seconds.
Not what this is for
- Cutting footage you do not have the rights to use.
- Dozens of variations for ad testing without an agreed plan.
- Posting, scheduling or paid placement.
How a main film becomes shorter versions
You provide
- A main film we make for you, or source footage you own the rights to.
- The message each shorter version should carry.
- The lengths, aspect ratios and channels you need.
We handle
- We pick the moments that still work on their own, rather than trimming the ends off.
- Each version is re-edited so it opens and closes cleanly: here, 30 seconds of seasons become 15 seconds of story and a 6-second reminder.
- The brand closing is kept, and held long enough to read.
- Important content is checked against each crop and platform safe area.
You receive
- Each version is its own video file in the agreed length and format.
- Every cut is a separate deliverable: a single-video order makes one video.
- The Campaign Package includes 3 x 1-minute videos and 10 videos up to 30 seconds.
- No new footage is added to a cutdown unless it is agreed.

Schedule and review
First-time single-video clients share a short creative brief at checkout. After payment, complete the project brief and upload your materials in the workspace; your checkout answers carry forward.
Campaign schedules and the distribution of versions are agreed by email after payment. Existing-film cutdowns are quoted and scheduled after reviewing the source files.
One free revision stays within the agreed scope. Changes to the concept or additional versions need a separate agreement. Review and revision guide · Production steps · Production Agreement

A 30-second edit plan
This is an illustrative production outline, not a claim about a published client brief. The exact sequence follows your supplied material, approved facts and selected runtime.
| Time | Purpose | Planning direction |
|---|---|---|
| 0–3 seconds | Opening hook | Introduce the subject or viewer problem with one clear image and a short message. |
| 3–10 seconds | Recognizable subject | Establish the real product, person or topic using approved references. |
| 10–23 seconds | Useful detail | Build one point through supporting scenes. Use real footage when an action or result must be factual. |
| 23–30 seconds | Next action | Leave a readable closing frame with the approved name, offer and one destination. |
Read the script aloud before treating these timings as a plan. Speech, demonstrations and visual pauses compete for the same runtime. A longer procedure or complicated explanation may need a longer video rather than faster cutting. The studio agrees the treatment before producing it; a sample sequence does not add extra deliverables to the order.
Real material and AI: divide the work clearly
Supply approved facts, current brand artwork and real recordings for anything presented as an actual person, place, event or working function. Generated imagery can illustrate an agreed scene, but cannot establish that an event happened or a product claim is true.
You identify details that must stay fixed and the parts of the scene where there is creative freedom. The producer shapes the sequence and chooses appropriate generation or editing methods. AI may help create supporting imagery and motion; original footage and artwork provide the factual references. Check the moving preview because a recognizable first frame does not guarantee continuity, lettering or geometry throughout a shot.
What to send before production
- Source footage or an agreed campaign production brief
- The message each edit should focus on
- Required lengths, ratios and release channels
Name the final versions of each file and keep creative references separate from approved product or brand assets. Explain permissions, fixed wording and the preferred spoken and subtitle languages. If you only have a website or an incomplete folder, ask which additional files are needed before selecting a deadline.
Your time and review responsibilities
| Your task | Suggested allowance | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Brief and scope | 15–30 minutes | Choose one audience, message, format and decision-maker. |
| Gather existing assets | 30–60 minutes | Organize approved files. Recording new footage takes additional time. |
| Review the direction | 15–30 minutes | Optional storyboard review on standard orders. |
| Review the video | 15–30 minutes | Check the complete preview and consolidate timestamped notes. |
Total: about 75–150 minutes across the project. These are planning allowances, not measured averages or promised time savings. New photography, recordings, internal approvals and additional feedback are extra.
Use one decision-maker to consolidate feedback. Check the central message, factual details, brand artwork, sound, captions and the closing action. Give timestamped notes and describe the required correction rather than sending several conflicting versions of the brief. One free revision stays within the agreed scope; a new concept or extra output may need a separate agreement.

Questions before you start
Are extra cutdowns included with every single-video order?
A single-video order covers one video in its selected format. Extra edits and versions must be agreed separately. The Campaign Package includes its published set of three one-minute videos and ten videos of up to 30 seconds.
